Aluminium core adapter, made in a standard length, for using an air shaft with cores of a different inner diameter.
AYS Makina adapters let cores of different diameters fit air shafts and winding systems. Designed for secure gripping and balanced running, they make winding and unwinding easier and more flexible.
A core adapter is an intermediate element fitted between an air shaft and a core whose inner diameter differs from the shaft diameter. When the same machine has to run with different core sizes, using an adapter instead of a separate shaft for each size can be an option.

Where are they used?
They can be used on packaging, printing, paper and plastic film lines, on machines that wind onto different core sizes for different customer orders. Using adapters can reduce the need to keep a separate shaft for each core size.
What to consider when choosing
