AYS Makina spare parts meet the maintenance and replacement needs of air shafts and friction systems. By helping to preserve system performance, they support reliable operation and production continuity.
On lines that handle web materials, air shafts and safety chucks come into play at every roll change and work under constant load and movement. Over time, bladders, lugs, valves and similar components wear or get damaged. Replacing these parts in good time shortens machine downtime and helps maintain winding quality.
Our approach
Since it was founded, AYS Makina has supported its customers’ later needs with spare parts and service delivered by an experienced team. Spare parts are available for our safety chucks, and our technicians carry out fitting quickly and easily. We consider spare part requests for the air shafts and safety chucks we manufacture.
What you can request
- Air shaft parts: bladders, lugs or leaves, shaft journals
- Valves and nipples: fittings for inflation and deflation
- Safety chuck parts: the wearing and replaceable components of the chuck
- Friction rings: replacement rings for friction shafts
Machined parts such as shaft journals can be produced on CNC machines to the customer’s technical drawing.
Maintenance and planning
Identifying frequently replaced parts in advance reduces unplanned stoppages. Pressure loss, the core slipping on the shaft, uneven winding or play in a safety chuck can all indicate that the relevant part needs checking. On critical lines, keeping spares of the most heavily worn parts on site is good practice. Keeping a record of the parts replaced during maintenance also makes the next order easier.
Requesting a quotation
The following information helps us identify the right part quickly:
- The part number or a dimensioned technical drawing of the existing part
- The type of product the part belongs to (shaft, chuck, etc.) and its size
- Core inner diameter and shaft length (for shaft parts)
- The quantity required
- If there is no drawing, clear photographs with dimensions added
